Job Description
- As an Activities Coordinator at Southampton Sport Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services at the Jubilee Sport And Recreation Centre Expansion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the Jubilee Swim Academy Swim School
- Overseeing climbing activities such as Learn to climb and children's parties
- Organizing children's activities during school vacations
- Supporting the daily operation of facilities while adhering to safety standards
You will collaborate closely with the Activities and Programme Manager to implement engaging initiatives that cater to the community's needs.
- Prior experience in running a swim school
- Background in the fitness and leisure industry, particularly in climbing activities
- Demonstrated ability to conduct enjoyable sessions for children
- Strong dedication to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, focusing on creating inclusive initiatives for disabled, Living Black, women, and LGBTQIA+ communities
- Possession of a First Aid qualification, which will be discussed during the interview process
This role will require flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends during the swim school sessions at the Jubilee Sport and Recreation Centre, which operates 7 days a week. The possibility of a job share arrangement can be considered.
