Role Overview:

As a Platform Engineer - Workload Automation, you will play a key role in building, managing, and optimizing our automation platforms. With a strong foundation in container-based operations, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code (IaC), you will ensure seamless deployment, scalability, and resilience of critical workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Container Operations: Design, create, and manage Docker images, ensuring adherence to security best practices and efficient container lifecycle management.
  
• Kubernetes Management: Architect and maintain Kubernetes clusters, handle deployments, StatefulSets, DaemonSets, scaling strategies, failover scenarios, and manage RBAC, secrets, and Pod security policies.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate provisioning and deployments using Terraform and integrate CI/CD pipelines for container builds and workload automation.
• Development & Integration: Develop and extend Autosys agent functionality using Python and higher-level languages like Java or Go, including potential plugin and SDK integrations.
• Resilient Architectures: Design and implement failover mechanisms, enforce least privilege principles, and secure cluster communications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align workload automation strategies with business objectives.

• Experience:
• 3+ years of container-based operations (e.g., Docker image creation, container lifecycle management).
• 3+ years of Kubernetes expertise (e.g., cluster architecture, Helm, OPA, RBAC).
• 2+ years of IaC experience using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• 2+ years of programming experience in Python and one higher-level language (e.g., Java, Go).
• Skills:
• Proficient in designing resilient architectures and implementing failover mechanisms.
• Expertise in security best practices, including least privilege enforcement and securing cluster communications.
