About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale Data & Analytics engagements for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong project delivery expertise, hands-on understanding of Databricks and ETL technologies, and proven experience in managing fixed-price projects from initiation through successful completion.
This role requires excellent stakeholder management, leadership capabilities, and the ability to oversee cross-functional teams while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

- Own end-to-end project delivery for Data & Analytics programs from initiation to closure.
- Manage fixed-price projects while ensuring adherence to scope, budget, timelines, and quality standards.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps.
- Lead and manage large cross-functional teams comprising Data Engineers, ETL Developers, Architects, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate project activities across multiple workstreams and ensure seamless collaboration among teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and business stakeholders.
- Provide regular project status updates, risk assessments, and executive-level reporting.
- Ensure successful execution of Databricks-based data engineering and analytics initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical architects and delivery leads to define scalable and efficient solutions.
- Drive project governance, change management, issue resolution, and escalation management.
- Monitor project KPIs, milestones, deliverables, and resource utilization.
- Identify project risks proactively and implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with organizational delivery processes, quality standards, and best practices.
- Manage project financials, budgets, margins, and overall project profitability.
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MCA, or a related field.
- 12 - 15 years of overall IT experience with significant experience in Technical Project Management.
- Proven experience in executing and delivering Fixed Price projects for enterprise clients.
- Strong experience in project planning, estimation, tracking, and reporting using Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.
- Hands-on understanding of Databricks implementation and execution projects.
- Experience managing Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, and Analytics programs.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.
Experience working with ETL technologies such as:
1. Informatica
2. DataStage
3. Ab Initio
4. SSIS
Experience with at least two ETL tools is highly preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
- Proven experience leading teams of 3550 members.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification.
- Scrum Master Certification.
- Databricks Certification.
- Azure, AWS, or Snowflake Certifications.
- Experience in large-scale cloud data modernization programs.
- Exposure to Agile and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
