Business Development Manager - Bangalore / Chennai / Mumbai / Ahmedabad

Dil Foods is a virtual restaurant operator that leverages the existing but underutilized capacity of small and medium restaurants to cater to its orders.

The idea really is to give turn key concepts to small restaurant owners which they can incorporate from their existing premise without making any additional investment and get incremental orders.

About the role

We are now looking for a driven Business Development professional ( 24 years experience) to join our team as an Business Development - Manager. This is a field role, where youll be meeting restaurant partners face-to-face, pitching Dil Foods offerings, and driving growth in your territory.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect & Lead Generation

Identify and connect with potential restaurant partners in your assigned area through market research, referrals, and cold calling.

Build a strong pipeline of leads to ensure consistent growth opportunities.

Meet restaurant owners/managers directly to pitch Dil Foods value proposition and onboard them. Partner On-boarding & Relationship Management

Engage with restaurant partners, understand their business needs, and clearly communicate how Dil Foods can help them grow.

Conduct product presentations and demos to showcase our offerings.

Ensure smooth on-boarding by coordinating with internal teams.

Build long-term relationships with partners by addressing queries and providing ongoing support.

Market Expansion & Growth

Continuously identify new business opportunities and expansion areas within your territory.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Culinary) to ensure seamless on-boarding and integration of new partners.

Candidate Profile

Bachelors degree in any field.

2-4 years experience in sales or business development, preferably in FnB, Hospitality, Horeca

Strong sales skills with a proven track record of achieving/exceeding targets.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively within your territory.

Self-driven, energetic, and excited to grow with a fast-scaling startup.
