Lead the System Integration and Verification of vehicle projects for Daimler Bus/Trucks, ensuring high-quality, innovative solutions. Guide system integration & verification, manage teams, foster innovation, and collaborate globally to achieve strategic goals. Continuously add value through effective project execution, competency development, and process improvement, enhancing business unit competitiveness and excellence.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• System Integration and Verification
• Guide, supervise, and review system integration projects.
• Project and Team Management:
• Plan and track progress to achieve results within approved schedules, costs, and quality plans.
• Ensure effective communication with teams, customers, stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Execute projects as per the operating plan, ensuring adherence to staffing, spending, and asset management.
• Hire, develop competencies, train, and manage team performance.
• Align team strategies with organizational goals as part of the leadership team.
• 
  Innovation and Problem-Solving:
• Foster a culture of innovation by identifying problems, developing solutions, creating proof of concepts, and driving improvements in test strategies.
• Cross-Functional and Global Collaboration:
• Lead cross-functional activities and collaborate with the leadership team.
• Improve processes to enhance efficiency, excellence, and competitiveness.

Key Skills

Strong Knowledge: Deep understanding of vehicle systems, integration processes, and project management methodologies.

• Proficient understanding of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems.
• Expertise in mechatronics systems with a focus on system verification.
• Strong knowledge of automotive protocols and standards.

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Masters Degree: In Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Extensive Experience: Proven experience in system integration and project management, particularly in the automotive industry.

• Overall: 15-18 years in the automotive domain.
• Specific: 5+ years in software development or verification & validation for electric vehicle systems.
• Management: 3+ years in people and project management.
• Additional: Experience in a multi-cultural environment is a plus.
