Assistant Manager - Cybersecurity Technology

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced cybersecurity professional to lead strategic programs and national-level initiatives at the intersection of cybersecurity, emerging technologies, policy, and ecosystem development. The role requires cyber security technology background with program management capabilities, stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to drive high-impact initiatives involving government, industry, academia, and international partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage national and strategic cybersecurity initiatives from conceptualization to execution.
• Conduct research and analysis on cybersecurity, digital trust, AI security, critical technologies, cyber resilience, and related developments.
• Drive project planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting to ensure timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
• Develop high-quality reports, concept notes, policy papers, whitepapers, presentations, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership and government stakeholders.
• Engage with ministries, regulators, industry leaders, academia, startups, and international organizations to build collaborative programs.
• Manage cross-functional project teams and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support proposal development, funding opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
• Track emerging trends in cybersecurity, technology, and global policy to identify new opportunities and initiatives.
• Represent the organization in meetings, workshops, conferences, and working groups.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) from a reputed institution.
• MBA or Postgraduate qualification from a recognized institute is preferred.

Required Experience

• 4–8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in cybersecurity consulting, strategy, risk advisory, technology consulting, or national digital initiatives is preferred.
