Senior UI/UX Developer

DDNs Next Generation Data Services Platform is a game changing data management platform which will offer an intelligent resource management and orchestration layer, real time analytics capabilities, and an intuitive mobile-device-era user experience

We are looking for a hands-on Senior UI/UX Developer who will help design and build a simple and amazing user experience for our data and services management platform. Building on a strong understanding of storage concepts, the Senior Developer will design, develop and deliver a modern UX platform.

What will you bring to DDN

• 5+ years development experience, with recent experience in Typescript/Angular
• Experience designing, implementing and maintaining complex Angular components from scratch

• Experience working with geographically distributed teams
• A culture of innovative thinking and delivery

What you have achieved

• Recognised experience developing web-based products, services and monitoring applications
• Experience developing UI/UX solutions for storage or computation resources management a plus
• Strong testing skills to ensure new feature and regression coverage

• Ability to both operate and make progress independently as well as raising issues to the team as needed
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams will be helpful
• Deep understanding of Agile UX / Design Thinking (ideation, prototyping, testing, design frameworks and concept visualization)

• Participate in the definition and development of our Data Services and Software Defined Storage UI/UX solution

• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design challenges and user scenarios
• Participate in or conduct usability testing in various forms to test design ideas
• Within the Scrum model, participate in full product development lifecycle including planning, design, code, test, usability reviews, release and maintenance
