Job Description
- Role Overview:
You will be involved in preparing Test Cases covering Functional, UI, and Testing modules and reporting bugs early in the release life cycle. Your role will include giving frequent feedback to the Development Team and Test Lead on the stability of tested components. You will perform functional, installation, and performance testing, as well as prepare Build Verification Testing Documents. It is essential for you to be very strong in Manual/Functional Testing and have experience working on Agile methodology. Additionally, you will contribute to QA team process improvement and have experience in API and DB Testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Test Cases covering Functional, UI, and Testing modules
- Report bugs early in the release life cycle
- Provide frequent feedback to the Development Team and Test Lead
- Perform functional, installation, and performance testing
- Prepare Build Verification Testing Documents
- Contribute to QA team process improvement
- Experience in API and DB Testing
Qualifications Required:
- BE / B.Tech (Engineering) / MS / MCA with specialization in Computer Science
- 3-5 years of experience in Software Testing in various business web environments
- Excellent in test case design, writing test cases, and execution
- Experience in manual testing and system analysis
- Good understanding of Defect Reporting, Sanity, Regression, Integration & System Testing
- Proficiency in preparing test data using XML/Excel and Test Harness
- Experience in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and Ad-Hoc Testing

- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Strong grasp of testing concepts, testing life cycle, and bug life cycle
- Ability to identify, confirm, report, and manage defects through resolution
- Good experience in SQL database
- Provide input to testing estimate and maintain the testing schedule
- Knowledge in Selenium & QTP is an added advantage
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
