Job Description

You will join a highly collaborative and quality-focused Agile team as a senior level developer based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Your primary responsibilities will include solving complex problems, contributing to the architecture, and developing maintainable applications. It is essential to thrive in a fast-paced and flexible environment where effective communication is key. Your expertise should enable you to implement requirements in an elegant, object-oriented manner. This role is challenging and requires a seasoned professional rather than an entry-level programmer.

Your daily tasks will involve writing elegant, reusable, and testable code, creating unit tests, conducting peer code reviews as per team standards, actively participating in Agile team stand-ups, and collaborating with team members. You should be comfortable leading discussions and cross-training your peers.
The ideal candidate for this position should hold a BE/B.Tech/MS/MCA degree with a specialization in Computer Science. You must have over 5 years of experience in developing web applications, with a deep understanding of modern PHP standards and proficiency in multiple PHP frameworks. Moreover, you should excel in designing and building APIs, working with RESTful web services, and possess a strong grasp of PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, MVC, core PHP, and MySQL. Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming Concepts, JQuery, Ajax, prototype building, and UI development is essential. Experience with frameworks like Zend, CodeIgniter, Symfony, CakePHP, MySQL, NoSQL databases, and SQL optimization is highly valued.

Furthermore, you should have expertise in software design patterns, knowledge of web technologies, and be capable of developing large web systems. Proficiency in using IDEs, debuggers, and PHP Unit for unit testing is required. Good oral and written communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
