Senior Manager - Accounting

Purpose of Role:

The purpose of the role is to oversee financial monthly book closing and support to offline retail business.

Reporting and location

The role will report to Finance Controller (Director - Finance) and is based out of Jaipur.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee Monthly financial closing of book of accounts.

• All tax returns and reconciliations

• Reporting to external stakeholders and govt. authorities.

• Work with project to set up offline retail business, process and controls

• Offline business accounting, tracking and annual operating plan preparation and monitoring. • Daily MIS reporting and transaction tracking.

• Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation. • Oversee preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets. • Audits accounts to ensure compliance with regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.

• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Skills & Competency:

Financial Accounting:

• Demonstrate strong accounting knowledge and application.

• Review to ensure alignment with the company Revenue policies and applicable accounting standard.

Reporting:

• Make reports as per various formats.

• Drives automation and optimization required to adhere to reporting standards. Process

Execution Excellence:

• Adheres to overall process timelines for delivery while ensuring all sub- processes meet execution standards.

• Anticipates and solves for problems and blockers before they arise.

Analytical Ability:

• Understands interrelationships of metrics and predicts how they will behave in different scenarios. • Drives analytical output by guiding and coordinating with analysts.

Interactions:

• Internal Stakeholders: All departments

• External Stakeholders: Auditors

Travel Frequency: As and when required by the organization.

Candidate Profile:

Required:

• Professional qualification as a CA and proven work experience in a similar role of 6-10 years • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures and Finalisation of books • Advanced MS Excel skills

• Excellent analytical and numerical skills

• Preferably from the Ecommerce/Retail Industry

• Experience using financial software (SAP, TALLY, ERP)
