About the Role:

We are looking for a data-driven professional with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our analytics team. As a Mid-Level Data Analyst, you will bridge the gap between complex big data engineering and actionable business intelligence. You will be responsible for designing scalable data pipelines, building predictive models, and deploying custom data tools that empower stakeholders to make informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Engineering & Processing

• Big Data Wrangling: Use PySpark and Google BigQuery to process, clean, and transform large-scale datasets from disparate sources.
• Database Management: Write complex, optimized MySQL and BigQuery SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and maintenance of relational and cloud data structures.
• Pipeline Automation: Develop and maintain automated ETL workflows using Python to ensure data freshness and integrity across on-prem and cloud environments.

2. Analytics & Machine Learning

• Statistical Analysis: Apply core Statistics principles (hypothesis testing, regression, probability distributions) to validate business insights.

• Predictive Modeling: Build, understand, and prototype Machine Learning models (Supervised/Unsupervised) to solve business problems.

3. Visualization & Deployment

• Dashboarding: Design high-impact, interactive stories and executive dashboards in Tableau to monitor KPIs and trends.
• Data Products: Develop lightweight internal web applications or REST APIs using Flask and FastAPI to serve model outputs or provide custom data-lookup tools for non-technical teams.

The Employee, as per business needs, may be required to undertake any other such duties as may be assigned in line with the employees position, skills, and capabilities.

Requirements:

1. Technical Stack

• Programming: Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, etc).
• Big Data & Cloud DW: Hands-on experience with PySpark (Spark SQL & DataFrames) and Google BigQuery (Standard SQL, Partitioning, Clustering).
• Databases: Strong

  MySQL skills (Complex Joins, Subqueries, Indexing, and Query Optimization).
• Visualization: Expert level in Tableau (LOD expressions, Parameter actions, and complex formatting).
• Web Frameworks: Experience with Flask and FastAPI for creating data APIs or basic web interfaces.
• Generative AI Awareness: Understanding of integrating LLMs (Large Language Models) via APIs into data workflows.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git/GitHub for collaborative coding and CI/CD basics.

2. Soft Skills

• Data Storytelling: Ability to translate complex technical findings into business speak for non-technical audiences.
• Stakeholder Management: Experience working directly with Product, Marketing, and Operations heads.
• Proactive Problem Solving: Identifying the question behind the question to provide deeper insights.
• Autonomy: Ability to work independently with minimum required support in a remote environment
