Job Description
- The Software Engineering team at Dell Technologies is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge software applications and products to meet the evolving needs of the industry. As a Software Senior Principal Engineer based in Bangalore, you will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and collaborate with internal and external partners using the latest technologies and software engineering methodologies.
In this role, you will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires technical expertise, adaptability, critical thinking, and innovation. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various teams to deliver world-class products, translating marketing requirements into engineering specifications, owning product architecture and design, and identifying opportunities for differentiation. Additionally, you will lead technical discussions, support engineering teams, and engage in customer briefings to showcase Dell's product direction and technological advancements.
To excel in this role, you should possess 13-18 years of experience as a PostgreSQL Database Developer, with a strong focus on developing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for time-series data management. Proficiency in SQL, database design, performance tuning, and data security is essential. Experience in Agile/Scrum processes and familiarity with Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence are desirable qualifications.
