Job Description

    As a responsible individual in this role, your primary duty will be to ensure adherence to operational workflows and standard operating procedures defined for service center inbound operations. You will play a crucial role in monitoring the daily in scan and out scan of shipments along with related paperwork. It will be your responsibility to check pre-alerts for tracking daily loads at the service centers and plan delivery schedules accordingly.
    Furthermore, you will be required to conduct daily staff briefings, communicate operational changes effectively, and hand over delivery sheets to the delivery staff. Ensuring safe, timely, and profitable delivery of shipments to customers will be a key aspect of your role, aiming to minimize instances of undelivered shipments and return to origin cases.
    Handling all exception cases at the service center, communicating issues to relevant departments for resolution, and conducting regular audits of deliveries to ensure accuracy in information flow will be part of your routine tasks. You will also need to monitor expenses, maintain vehicle log checks, and ensure timely reimbursement of fuel conveyance expenses to staff.

    Additionally, your responsibilities will include ensuring safe handling of all shipments, reporting any damaged cases to the origin, handling security exceptions in collaboration with the security team, and conducting necessary training sessions for staff in line with centrally designed programs.
    Regular audits, monitoring of staff performance, and ensuring adequate manning in terms of full-time employees and PDAs will be essential aspects of your role. Generating and maintaining Management Information System (MIS) related to the service center will also fall under your purview.,
