Job Description
About Role: The Assistant Manager Legal will be responsible for expected to handle all the legal matters.
Job Responsibilities:
- Visit Court, police-Station, SP Office and field Deadline Compliance, Warrant service, Lok Adalat and other ADR.
- Investigation of fraudulent activities and submit the investigation report with proofs to FRT department.
- Investigation of activities involving robbery, theft, loot etc. and submit the investigation report with proofs to FRT department
- Maintaining FRT and Legal register and updating the same
- Looking after security related matters of branches and locations (money, physical security etc.)
- Filing of FIR and initiating various legal action/ legal cases as suggested and decided by Legal Department and doing coordination and follow up with LEAs and for court proceedings
- Coordination and follow up with Advocates panel and with the various professionals engaged by the company related to various legal matters
- Coordinate with Insurance companies.
- Assisting and handling legal issues (including agreements) related to branches and employees.
- Coordination and follow up for various legal cases.
- Drafting and vetting of various letters and agreements and ensuring timely execution
- Maintaining MIS/keeping records of all the cases including agreements, legal compliance, checklist etc, Legal Document Accuracy and Case File Completeness.
- Assisting the branches and head office in various legal compliances. Customizing the requirements of all different states for legal documentation, institutionalization and make branches aware and follow the same.
- Throwing alerts on any suspicious activity
- Plan, conduct regular inspections and surprise visits (from vigilance point of view).Identify sensitive locations, plan regular and surprise inspections of such locations.
- Investigation of Complaints of borrowers and employees.
- Any other work as may be assigned by the management.

- Strong drafting and analytical skills and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to keep calm under pressure, especially when there are deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments.
- English written and verbal communication skills.
- English and Hindi Typing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Power Point.
- Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situation.
- Willingness to work extensively in the field and travel across Bharat on short notice.
Experience & Qualification
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Law (LL.B).
- E least 5 years experience as Law Officer and Executive in Legal Department. Good understanding of financial sector with technical understanding of various financial models.E
