Senior Executive - Analytics, Disney Hotstar

JOB SUMMARY:
As a Senior Executive - Analytics, you will be responsible for overseeing analytics for the Ads business, assisting in developing strategic narratives to enhance sales, addressing advertiser needs, and managing data products related to Ads Business. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to address complex challenges using advanced analytics.
ABOUT THE TEAM:
At Disney+ Hotstar, the team delivers high-quality content to millions of customers across various evolving devices. As a member of the BIRV team, your responsibilities will include Dashboard Development, Data & Analytics for BIRV initiatives, Freemium Initiatives, and supporting other business functions as required. The BIRV Team serves as the primary resource for reporting and data needs, offering assistance for ad hoc decision-making across stakeholders. Seeking motivated individuals with strong technical skills to contribute to our BI & Freemium Initiatives and make a significant impact!
REPORTING TO: Senior Manager - Analytics, Disney+ Hotstar
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data collection, processing, and analysis

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
• Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions and address complex challenges
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization through data analysis
  

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with at least three years in a similar role
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in handling complex datasets
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and programming languages such as Python or R
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks is beneficial
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences
• Experience in Adtech or OTT platforms is advantageous
