About the Role :
- The Founder manages a portfolio of business interests, including a growing healthcare venture (hospital and clinic operations in Noida) along with other existing and upcoming business entities. The financial ecosystem is complex: multiple companies with distinct compliance requirements, personal wealth and tax matters, banking relationships across entities, and an evolving business strategy that demands sharp financial oversight.
- We need someone who can be the single point of command for all of this - a finance professional who is equal parts executor, advisor, and gatekeeper. You will manage the Founder's personal financial profile (taxes, investments, banking) while simultaneously ensuring that every company under the umbrella is compliant, well-managed, and financially healthy.
- This role demands exceptional integrity, confidentiality, commercial acumen, and the ability to switch seamlessly between personal finance, compliance operations, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities :
A. Personal Finance & Tax Management of the Founder
- Take complete ownership of the Founder's personal income tax planning - compute tax liability, plan advance tax instalments, and ensure timely filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) with optimal tax efficiency.
- Work closely with external Chartered Accountants and tax advisors to execute year-round tax planning strategies, including capital gains optimisation, Section 80C/80D and other deduction planning, HUF structuring (if applicable), and long-term wealth preservation.
- Track all personal income streams - salary, director remuneration, dividends, rental income, capital gains, interest income - and ensure TDS/advance tax is correctly accounted for.
- Manage the Founder's personal banking relationships - savings/current accounts, credit cards, wealth management accounts, personal loans, and overdraft facilities. Handle documentation, KYC updates, and limit enhancements.
- Coordinate personal insurance renewals, claims processing, and coverage reviews annually.
- Prepare a quarterly personal net worth statement and financial health summary for the Founder's review.
B. Multi-Entity Compliance & Statutory Filings :
- Maintain a master compliance calendar across all entities under the Founder's umbrella - covering ROC filings, GST returns, TDS returns, PF/ESI, Professional Tax, and any sector-specific regulatory filings.
- Ensure 100% on-time filing with zero penalties across all companies. Own the compliance dashboard and proactively flag upcoming deadlines.
- Oversee Annual Return filings (MGT-7, AOC-4) and coordinate with company secretaries for board resolutions, minutes, and statutory registers.
- Handle Director-level compliance across entities - DIN KYC, DSC renewals, Form DIR-3 KYC, disclosure of interests, and related-party transaction registers.
- Coordinate with company-level accountants, CAs, and auditors for preparation of annual financial statements, audit schedules, and audit completion.
- Manage inter-company transactions, loans, and investments - ensure proper documentation, board approvals, and compliance with Section 185/186 of the Companies Act.
- Track and manage GST input credit across entities, reverse charge mechanism, and healthcare-specific GST exemptions/applicability.
- Ensure FEMA compliance for any cross-border transactions, foreign investments, or NRI-related matters (if applicable now or in the future).
C. Banking, Treasury & Cash Flow Management :
- Manage banking relationships across all personal and business accounts - including current accounts, OD/CC limits, term loans, trade finance facilities, and payment gateways.
- Handle end-to-end documentation for new credit facilities, renewals, collateral management, and bank audit/inspection support.
- Monitor daily cash positions across all entities, optimise fund allocation, and manage inter-company fund transfers with proper documentation.
- Negotiate banking terms - interest rates, processing fees, collateral requirements - to ensure the most favourable terms for the group.
- Manage fixed deposits, liquid funds, and short-term treasury investments across entities to maximise returns on idle funds.
- Prepare weekly cash flow reports and monthly fund position summaries for the Founder.
- Handle all banking compliance - stock/book debt statements, QIS submissions, annual reviews, and renewal documentation.
D. Financial Reporting, MIS & Decision Support :
- Prepare consolidated monthly MIS covering all entities - revenue, EBITDA, net profit, cash flow, working capital, and key financial ratios.
- Build and maintain financial dashboards (Excel / Google Sheets / BI tools) that give the Founder a real-time view of the group's financial health.
- Prepare entity-wise P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow summaries with variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
- Develop annual budgets and forecasts for each entity in collaboration with operational teams.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support the Founder's decision-making on capex, new projects, hiring, and cost optimisation.
- Create ad hoc financial models, scenario analyses, and what-if projections as needed for business planning.
E. Strategic Finance & Growth Support :
- Support the Founder in evaluating new business opportunities - prepare financial feasibility studies, ROI analyses, and break-even projections.
- Assist with fundraising activities - prepare investor decks, financial projections, valuation models, and data room documentation.
- Support due diligence processes (buy-side or sell-side) for any acquisitions, partnerships, or strategic investments.
- Liaise with legal counsel on contracts, agreements, shareholder arrangements, and the financial implications of business decisions.

- Stay updated on regulatory changes (tax laws, Companies Act amendments, healthcare regulations) and proactively advise the Founder on implications and action items.
F. Team Coordination & Process Building :
- Supervise and coordinate the work of company-level accountants, bookkeepers, and outsourced compliance teams across entities.
- Build and document financial SOPs, processes, and checklists for recurring activities (month-end close, compliance filings, payroll, vendor payments).
- Implement and improve financial systems - recommend upgrades to accounting software, reporting tools, or automation solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all external stakeholders on financial matters - CAs, auditors, bankers, legal advisors, and government authorities.
Qualifications Requirement: Experience, Skills & Education :
- Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred. MBA (Finance) / CMA / M.Com with exceptional practical experience will also be considered.
- 7-12 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a promoter's office, family office, founder support, or CXO-level financial management role.
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of Indian taxation - Income Tax (personal and corporate), GST, TDS/TCS, advance tax, and capital gains.
- Strong understanding of the Companies Act 2013 - ROC filings, board compliances, director obligations, and related-party transactions.
- Proven experience in managing multi-entity books, consolidations, and inter-company reconciliations.
- Advanced proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel (financial modelling, macros, advanced formulas), and Google Sheets.
- Strong banking and treasury management skills - experience managing multiple banking relationships, credit facilities, and fund flows.
- Exceptional integrity, discretion, and confidentiality - this role involves access to the Founder's most sensitive personal and business financial information.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills - you will interact with CAs, lawyers, bankers, and investors.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and a zero-miss approach to compliance deadlines.
- Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and take decisions with minimal hand-holding.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a family office, promoter group, or closely held business group with 3+ entities.
- Exposure to the healthcare sector - hospital finance, clinical establishment regulations, or healthcare-specific compliance.
- Knowledge of FEMA regulations for LRS remittances, foreign investments, or NRI/RNOR taxation.
- Experience with fundraising, investor relations, or private equity / venture capital processes.
- Familiarity with Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP Business One, or similar multi-entity accounting platforms.
- Experience with financial modelling tools, BI dashboards (Power BI / Tableau), or advanced Google Sheets/Apps Script automation.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :
- 100% on-time compliance across all entities and personal filings - zero penalties, zero defaults.
- Monthly consolidated MIS delivered to the Founder by the 7th of every month.
- Personal tax planning resulting in legally optimised tax outgo year-on-year.
- All banking renewals and documentation completed at least 15 days before due dates.
- Clean audit reports across all entities with no material qualifications or adverse findings.
- Proactive identification of at least 2-3 cost-saving or revenue-optimisation opportunities per quarter.
- Founder satisfaction - consistent positive feedback on responsiveness, accuracy, and strategic value-add.
