Job Description
Dream Capital (DreamCap) is the Corporate Venture Capital and M&A arm of Dream Sports, India’s leading Sports Technology company. DreamCap is a multi-stage investor, with cheque sizes ranging from $1 - $100M+ depending on the stage of the company, including larger ticket size global M&A deals.The core investment areas for DreamCap are sports and sports-tech, gaming, Web3, fintech and fitness-tech. The DreamCap portfolio includes Dream Sports incubated businesses FanCode, DreamPay, and DreamSetGo, along with DreamGameStudios (formerly known as Rolocule), Rario, SoStronk, Fittr, Elevar, KheloMore and MarketWolf.
Your Role:
- Studying market dynamics, identifying key trends and benchmarking top incumbents / startups in the relevant sectors
Developing investor outreach strategy, leading diligence and closing procedures for primary and secondary fundraises- Running deal execution - diligence, documentation and post close work streams
- Tracking investor sentiments and deal activity in the Tech ecosystem
- Assisting with investor relations and managing interactions / engagements with potential investors
- Creating detailed strategic frameworks & execution plans to optimise existing and new business verticals
Must Have:
- 3 years of relevant experience in Tier I investment banking, corporate development or private equity
- Strong corporate finance, accounting, valuation and Powerpoint skills
- Ability to leverage and build professional and personal network for effective sector coverage
- Strong research & analysis skills
Good to Have:
- Passion for our core sectors: Sports, fitness and gaming
- Familiarity with the Dream Sports ecosystem
