Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Business Development Specialists with a strong background in IT consulting and custom software development services industry. The role is responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and converting opportunities in international markets, using structured sales methodologies and disciplined pipeline management.
This is a hands-on role requiring ownership of the full sales cyclefrom ICP-based lead sourcing through customer conversion.
Role Description- Source and build a qualified pipeline based on defined Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP) for the assigned geography (UK/Europe or US).
- Execute outbound outreach using multiple touch points (email, LinkedIn, calls, and follow-ups).
- Qualify leads using BANT and MEDDIC frameworks and progress them through the sales funnel.
- Own opportunity qualification, discovery, and conversion into signed customers.
- Conduct structured discovery conversations to understand customer needs and position DSRCs service offerings.
- Work closely with pre-sales, delivery, and leadership teams to develop proposals and engagement models.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, activity tracking, and forecasting in HubSpot CRM.
- Support account handover and ensure a smooth transition from sales to delivery.
Required Experience & Skills
- 57 years of business development or sales experience in an IT services / IT consulting / custom software development business similar to DSRC.
- Prior experience selling IT services into the UK and/or European markets.
- Understanding of regional buying processes and contracting models.
- Proven experience in ICP-based lead sourcingand outbound demand generation.

- Strong working knowledge of BANT and MEDDIC qualification methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to take opportunities from initial contact through customer conversion.
- Hands-on experience using HubSpot CRM for pipeline and activity management.
- Solid understanding of application development, offshore delivery, and team augmentation models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Post-graduate in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in B2B business development particularly focusing on new business development in the respective markets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Familiarity with marketing data platforms, sales automation and CRM tools and lead generation strategies.
