Durlston Partners is working with an exciting Asset Management firm that is expanding its technology hub in Abu Dhabi. You'll be joining an elite group of engineers, operating in a relaxed, open-collar environment. You will work closely with quantitative researchers and portfolio managers to build sophisticated, AI-driven applications. This is a hands-on, full-stack role where you will design scalable architectures from the ground up, leveraging the latest in generative AI to augment and accelerate the firm's investment capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end full-stack applications using a Python backend and React/TypeScript frontend.
• Deeply integrate LLMs and AI coding agents into the development workflow, with a specific focus on leveraging Claude Code to accelerate engineering and build intelligent internal tools.
• Architect robust, scalable software solutions that directly support quantitative research, data analysis, and trading operations.
• Collaborate directly with investment professionals to translate complex financial workflows into intuitive, high-performance applications.

What They're Looking For

• Strong academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier university.
• Proven commercial experience as a Full-Stack Engineer, ideally within a financial, trading, or high-growth tech environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and modern frontend frameworks (React, TypeScript).
• Strong, hands-on experience utilizing Claude Code
