Sr. Data Engineer- SQL/Snowflake (Immediate Joiners Only)

Role: Sr. Data Engineer

Location: Pune

Type: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Data Engineering
• 
  Implementing ETL pipelines within and outside of a data warehouse using Snowflakes Snow SQL
• Querying Snowflake using SQL Syntax
• Development of scripts using scripts & SQL for loading, extracting, and transforming data.
• Assist with production issues in Data Warehouses like loading data, transformations, and translations
• Help mentor junior team members during the projects.

Skills Required

The ideal candidate should have a solid academic foundation to degree level or higher.

• Minimum of 4 -8 years of experience with Data warehousing methodologies and modelling techniques

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in developer of Data warehouse solutions on database like Netezza, Teradata Oracle etc
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with ELT concepts
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with SQL
• General understanding of the Snowflake architecture
• Experience in Snowpipe for handling Streaming data is a plus
• Good to have experience
• Experience in handling semi-structured data (JSON, XML) using the VARIANT attribute in Snowflake
• Experience in in Re-clustering of the data in Snowflake with good understanding on how Micro-Partition works inside Snowflake is a plus
