Associate Vice President - Accounts & Finance - CA

Chartered Accountant with experience of 8 to 10 years post qualification mandatory.
Experience of managing a team of at least 3 persons is required.
Sound technical knowledge of IGAAP and IndAS is required
This role will be mainly responsible for the control over Accounts & Finance processes covering Accounting, Payments, Book closure, Reporting, and other areas as identified in brief below. This person will be reporting to CFO.
Responsibilities:
1) Accounting, Audit and Reporting:
a) Responsible for analysis and dissemination of periodic MIS, quarterly interim financial statements, and year-end financial statements incl Ind AS financials, Tax Audit 3CD report, and other reporting on a timely basis [exclusions: fund accounting and fund administration]

b) Responsible for preparing cash flow projections and budget forecasts.
c) Responsible for 10+ legal entities
d) Ensure timeliness and accuracy in accounting and financial reporting system for the Investment Manager and other related entities within the group.
e) Ensure compliance with TDS, GST, Advance tax, Income Tax, and other statutory filings.
f) Monitor the entire payment process and follow workflow-based process.
g) Interact with various audit teams (statutory audit, internal audit, GST audit, Tax audit, and regulators) and ensure proper coordination and timely audit completion.
2) Other areas:
a) Actively evaluate projects for automation & use of technology to improve efficiency of operations
b) Effectively execute any project-based work from time to time in time bound manner and improving current processes by following workflow based organized approach.
c) Provide suggestions and implement systems for cost savings and efficiency.
Skills:
a) Chartered Accountant with experience of 8 to 10 years post qualification, experience in asset management or private equity industry will be preferred, but not mandatory.
b) Experience of managing a team of at least 3 persons is required
c) Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail, problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and able to multitask and deliver under tight deadlines. Willingness to get things done, achieve closure on matters.
d) Sound technical knowledge of IGAAP and IndAS is required.
e) Effective communication across various teams and functions in the organization is must.
f) Experience on working with ERPs like Microsoft D365 system is preferred, highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with fast and exact data processing skills
g) Highly professional/institutional and self-motivated candidate, able to effectively work both as an individual contributor and as a leader.
h) Quick learner with the ability to quickly turnaround ad-hoc requests in a fast-paced environment
i) Must operate with the highest level of integrity and professional conduct
