Eastman Auto & Power - Manager - Finance

Finance Manager with a strong background in audit, accounting, book closure, GST, and taxation to join our finance team in a fast-paced logistics environment.
The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of finance operations, regulatory compliance, and cost control practices relevant to the logistics and supply chain industry.
Responsibilities:
Accounting & Book Closure:

- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including AP, AR, and general ledger.

- Manage timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).

- Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and reconciliations.
Audit Management:

- Coordinate and manage internal and statutory audits.

- Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely resolution of audit observations.

- Implement audit recommendations and strengthen internal controls

Financial Compliance & Controls:

- Establish and monitor financial controls and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
GST & Taxation:

- Ensure timely and accurate GST filing, reconciliation, and compliance.

- Oversee TDS, income tax filings and handle tax assessments or notices.

- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws applicable to logistics and freight sectors.
Location & commitments:

Employment type : Full-time, Permanent

Location : Navi Mumbai

Working days : Monday to Friday + alternate Saturdays
Candidate requirements:

- Education: CA / ICWA / MBA in Finance

- Experience: Minimum 4 years in finance, preferably with experience in the logistics, transportation, or supply chain sector.
- Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and income tax laws.

- Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or ZOHO systems.

- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.

- Strong attention to detail, leadership qualities, and communication skills
