Position Overview

The role of a Travel Specialist is to book airfares, car, hotel, and Amtrak for eCW employees or to give them the best possible option keeping eCW travel policies in mind. To verify the expenses and the proofs produced post the completion of the trip in-order to ensure smooth reimbursement process.

• Airfare, Hotel, Car, and Amtrak booking with best prices. • To review if the booking is in accordance with the company policy & if not, then suggest the best option. • To get a proper reason or team lead approval in case traveler is not agree with the best option suggested. • Report any policy violation or early departure or schedule mismatch or preferred vendor has not been selected. • Act as First level approver (Non trainers) for the queues BA, PACT, PRM, PM, EIS, Development & Training and Final level approver for all queues (Non trainers) • Communicate through emails and calls, in case of queries. • Get the report from Accounts payable team Westborough. • Verify the charges with Expensify. • If charge found, update the reconciliation file and if no charge found then send email to the traveler.
