Job Description
- The SAP FICO Consultant is responsible for analyzing, designing, configuring, and supporting the SAP Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), and Material Management (MM) modules to meet the specific requirements of the Al Ghurair Group. You will work closely with internal teams, including ERP Functional Managers, Technical Consultants, Basis Consultants, and Business Users, as well as with external IT vendors. Your role will involve delivering, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving SAP functionality while providing guidance on ERP-related issues and supporting future enhancements.
You must have deep hands-on experience in implementing and configuring SAP ECC, particularly within FICO and MM modules. A strong understanding of GL, AA, VAT, and CT concepts, along with comprehensive knowledge of SAP FICO and MM process flows is essential. You should be able to work with clients to define and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. Experience in preparing and conducting Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing is required. Effective communication skills are necessary to interact with ERP Functional Managers, Technical and Basis Consultants, and Business Users.
Additional skills that are good to have include exposure to various ERP applications and associated technologies, awareness of systems integration principles, quality assurance tools, and UAT methodologies, understanding of software and computer systems architectural principles for integrating enterprise applications, and knowledge of market trends and evolving technology relevant to SAP and ERP applications.

Qualifications for this role include a Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce (BCOM, MCOM), with an MBA in Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification preferred. You should have a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in SAP FICO and MM modules within ECC or S4HANA environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining current knowledge of technology trends and applying them to business needs are essential competencies for this position.,
