Job Description
- The Director of IT Applications plays a crucial role as a part of the IT Leadership team, responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and delivery of business applications and solutions to EFI business units and centers of excellence. This encompasses various areas such as customer relationship management, financial processes, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, human resources, and product lifecycle processes. The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong technology leadership skills and must have the ability to comprehend EFIs business strategies in order to devise technological roadmaps that align with the evolving business needs.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for acting as a functional expert, offering industry expertise, and correlating business needs to SAP capabilities. You will drive transformation opportunities, oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all assigned applications, and ensure the maximization of investments in enterprise applications through effective governance and continuous improvement. Managing vendor relationships, leading project implementations, and driving modernization efforts while focusing on maximizing value and reducing the total cost of ownership of the IT application portfolio will also be part of your role.

To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and have a minimum of ten years of recent SAP expertise, particularly in the Industrial Manufacturing Industry. Possessing relevant certifications with hands-on experience in the SAP solution portfolio, including various versions of ERP, ERP Integrations, and modules like SD, MM, FICO, is essential. Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Functional Design principles, project management principles, secure coding practices, and SDLC methodologies are also required. Excellent communication skills, experience in leading remote teams across multiple geographies, and a deep understanding of various business processes in a global B2B organization are desired competencies for this role.,
