Corporate Lawyer - LLB/LLM

Key Responsibilities
Legal Advice & Guidance:

- Provide strategic legal counsel on a wide range of corporate, regulatory, and commercial matters.

- Advise internal stakeholders on legal implications of business decisions.
Contract Management:

- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements including vendor contracts, NDAs, service agreements, and partnership deals.

- Ensure contract terms align with legal standards and business objectives.
Mergers & Acquisitions:

- Manage the legal aspects of M&A transactions, joint ventures, and other corporate restructuring activities.

- Conduct legal due diligence and support post-merger integration.
Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

- Design and implement internal compliance policies and training programs.
Dispute Resolution:

- Represent the company in legal proceedings including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.

- Coordinate with external counsel and manage dispute resolution strategies.
Intellectual Property:

- Oversee registration and protection of intellectual property assets such as patents, trademarks, and copyrights.

- Handle infringement issues and licensing agreements.

- Advise on board governance, regulatory filings, and shareholder rights.

- Ensure corporate policies and bylaws are up to date and compliant.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Law (LLB); Masters degree (LLM) preferred.

- 6+ years of experience in a legal role, preferably in a corporate or MNC environment.

- Strong understanding of corporate law, commercial law, and regulatory compliance.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
