: Junior Developer – BMC Helix Platform

Location: Pune Flexible / Hybrid (aligned with GCC Operations)

Reporting Line: Direct (Hierarchical): Global Capability Center (GCC) Functional: IT Services Organization

Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated Junior Developer – BMC Helix Platform to support the development, configuration, and maintenance of business workflows within the BMC Helix ecosystem. This role operates within a matrix organization, reporting directly to the GCC while functionally supporting IT Services. The Junior Developer will work under the guidance of a Senior Developer to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance IT service management processes and user experience. This is an excellent opportunity to build deep expertise in the BMC Helix platform while contributing to global IT operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Handle incidents and service requests in BMC Helix, following ITIL processes and SLA/OLA targets.
• Diagnose issues, perform troubleshooting, and apply fixes/workarounds.
• Monitor personal/assigned queues and escalate time-critical cases per procedure.
• Assist in the development and configuration of solutions on the BMC Helix Platform.
• Support the translation of business and IT Services requirements into platform configurations.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support release activities.
• Document configurations, workflows, and technical changes.
• Actively seek guidance and feedback from senior team members.

• 2–5 years of experience in application development or IT service management tools.
• Understanding of ITIL concepts (preferred but not mandatory).
• Practical experience in BMC Interfaces & Integration, Business workflows, CMDB & Asset Management.
• Familiarity with Integration (Rest API/Email) and basic customization.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a structured environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment.

• Experience with Automation tools and SLA Set-up.
• Knowledge of Dashboard Set-up.
