Consultant MD Medicine

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, respiratory diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, infectious diseases, and autoimmune conditions.
  
• Provide expert consultations and care plans for inpatients and outpatients.
  
  
  
• Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and medical students.
  
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work, imaging studies, ECGs, and biopsies.
  
• Coordinate care with other specialists (e.g., cardiologists, nephrologists, neurologists) for patients with complex multi-system diseases.
  
• Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust therapies as necessary.

• Lead and participate in medical ward rounds, case discussions, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  
• Adhere to evidence-based medical practices and clinical guidelines.
  
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  
• Participate in hospital governance, audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continued medical education (CME).
