Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Delivery Director to lead and scale delivery and operations across a diverse portfolio of healthcare payer and provider accounts. This role is accountable for driving delivery excellence across Data, AI, Automation, and Digital Engineering engagements, while spearheading AI led delivery transformation, including AI training, enablement, and adoption across the portfolio. The Delivery Director will champion superior customer satisfaction, own portfolio-level P&L and people excellence, and achieve growth objectives in close collaboration with Client Partners, technology leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary delivery executive for all portfolio accounts, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, consistent value delivery, and long term client retention.
  • Build and strengthen senior client relationships with C suite, VP, and Director level stakeholders by delivering measurable business outcomes, demonstrating strategic insight, and consistently creating high customer value.
  • Own end to end delivery P&L for a $8M+ portfolio, ensuring accurate revenue realization, healthy profitability, disciplined cost management, and predictable financial performance.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer s ecosystem, their end user needs, business challenges, and transformation priorities. Lead teams in consulting, thought leadership, and solution ideation that advance customers digital ecosystems. Collaborate with Client Partners and Sales to drive both offering led and delivery led growth.
  • Lead multi disciplinary delivery teams spanning data engineering, AI/ML, automation, cloud engineering, platform modernization, and digital product development.
  • Establish and enforce delivery governance, quality standards, proactive risk management, and continuous compliance across all engagements.
  • Define and implement processes, frameworks, and standards for all phases of the project and implementation lifecycle, ensuring alignment with regulatory, industry, and security requirements for all services delivered.
  • Drive AI led delivery transformation, guiding teams to adopt AI enabled engineering practices, productivity accelerators, and automation tools to improve delivery efficiency and quality.
  • Champion AI capability building, supporting AI training programs, skill development, and adoption metrics across the delivery organization.
  • Collaborate with Offering Leaders, Solution Architects, and Practice Heads to shape differentiated solutions, delivery models, and capability strategies aligned to customer and market needs.
  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement by advancing engineering excellence, delivery maturity, automation, and modern delivery practices across teams.
  • Attract, hire, and retain high performing talent, while mentoring and developing team members through structured growth paths, performance coaching, and a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Lead workforce planning, competency development, and engagement initiatives to build a future ready, agile, and high performing delivery organization.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, ensuring the portfolio adopts relevant advancements that strengthen delivery outcomes.
  • Monitor and report on key delivery and engineering performance metrics, including project health, financial performance, AI led engineering adoption, value realization, and product/delivery maturity.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; Master s degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in IT services delivery, including 5+ years delivering to US healthcare payer and/or provider organizations.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership for portfolios of $5M+ comprising a mix of Fixed Price Milestone and Annuity engagements, Outcome based and Risk-Reward based project engagements, with a strong record of revenue realization, cost and margin management, and financial discipline.
  • Deep delivery expertise across Data Engineering, AI/ML, Automation, Analytics, Digital Engineering, and Quality Engineering, with a proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary geographical dispersed technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare technology landscape, including industry standards and regulatory frameworks such as FHIR, CMS programs, HIPAA, interoperability requirements, digital health solutions, and healthcare data security practices.
  • Proven experience driving both offering led and delivery led growth, including solution shaping, account mining, and value expansion.
  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across C suite, business, and technology leaders.

    Advanced analytical and problem solving capabilities, with the ability to conceptualize and deliver innovative solutions to complex business and technology challenges.
  • Hands on experience with SAFe Agile, Lean delivery methodologies, and AI led engineering productivity frameworks, enabling modernized, efficient delivery models.
  • Strong track record leading large, global, multi cultural engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, developing top talent, and building high performing organizations.
  • Robust client engagement, financial management, and governance skills, ensuring predictable delivery outcomes, high customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)
  • Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) Score: Target > 60+ NPS
  • Portfolio Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed assigned annual growth targets
  • P&L Performance: Maintain or exceed targeted gross margins and profitability levels.
  • Delivery Quality: Zero major escalations; meet and exceed SLAs, performance KPIs and compliance standards.
  • AI-led Delivery Adoption: Achieve and exceed AI-driven productivity and delivery quality improvement targets at individual engagement level.
  • AI Training & Upskilling of delivery team as per defined targets
  • Resource Utilization: Maintain utilization at individual engagement level within target range
  • On-time and On-budget Delivery
