Product Owner Manager

Organization Unit Purpose
The Data Analytics unit translates data into actionable insights and visualizations. The unit provides data support for key strategic and organisational transformation projects including business insights to business leaders. The unit strives to automate data extracts, reports, and dashboards to the fullest extent possible.
Senior Product Owner team collaborates with various teams throughout the development process. They act as a bridge between the stakeholders and delivery teams ensuring everyone aligns with the product vision and delivers a user focused product maximizing value and impact to BU.
Job Purpose
The Product Owner team steers the Product vision and roadmap. They champion user needs, prioritise features, and ensure clear communication with delivery lead/team and stakeholders. This translates into user centric products that deliver value and meet business goals.
Job Responsibilities

• Communicates with Stakeholders to understand business objectives
• Defines the Product Vision
• Develops and explicitly communicates the Product Goal
• Creates Product Roadmap in line with business goals
• Have deep knowledge of Market and Competitor Products
• Understands and anticipates clients needs and ensure customer centricity
• Creates Customer Journey Maps
• 
  Creates the customer feedback loop to incorporate voice of customer
• Juggles scope, budget and time to prioritize product features
• Analyzes needs and objectives of stakeholders
• Prioritizes the delivery of features basis of value and strategic needs
• Creates clear and well-articulated value-driven backlog with Epics/Features/User Stories along with Acceptance Criteria
• Ensures that Product Backlog is transparent, visible and understood
• Keeps adequate work for the team by having a refined and sized backlog of T+2 Sprints with dependency mapping
• Receives, Collates and Prioritizes all demands (be it functional or technical) relevant to their product line with all the stakeholders by acting as a primary liaison
• Gains buy-in from all stakeholders
• Delivers clear instructions to squads on product delivery
• Accountable for end-to-end product delivery
• Responsible to enable early value delivery by defining MVP Scope to maximize ROI
• Evaluates product delivery progress through each iteration
• Determines the acceptability of product features by clear definition of done.
  

Person Specifications:

• Candidate must be UAE National
• Candidate must have 6 - 10 years of experience in product management (preferably in banking and financial services)
• Strong banking knowledge
• Strong communication and collaboration
• Leadership skills

• understanding of data management
• Project and people management skills
• Strong diplomatic and influencing skills
• Bachelor's Graduate: Graduate in computer science, business administration or IT
