Qualification : Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10+ years of post-qualification experience
Functional expertise : in business finance, FP&A, and commercial finance within a BPM environment
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Business Partnering:
- Collaborate closely with business leaders to align financial goals with strategic priorities.
- Provide actionable, forward-looking insights that influence business direction and growth initiatives.
- Act as a trusted finance advisor to functional heads and senior management.
2. Financial Planning & Strategic Forecasting :
- Lead the development of annual operating plans (AOP), rolling forecasts, and long-range financial models.
- Translate business strategies and operational priorities into quantified financial outcomes.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing mitigation strategies and scenario analysis.
3. Performance Management :
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across business units and service lines.
- Identify emerging trends, variances, and proactively recommend interventions to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Present performance insights to leadership in clear, concise management reviews.
4. Commercial Finance & Growth Enablement :
- Support pricing, deal structuring, and investment decisions through robust financial analysis and modelling.
- Evaluate new business opportunities, strategic initiatives, and M&A activity from a financial viability standpoint.
- Partner with Sales and Business Development teams to build commercial frameworks that drive profitable growth.
5. Client & Service Line Profitability :
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on client-level and service-line margins.
- Recommend strategies to optimise resource allocation, pricing, and cost structures to improve financial returns.
- Build and maintain profitability dashboards at the client and service-line level.
6. Revenue Assurance & Cost Governance:
- Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Drive accountability for cost control across business units and support cost optimisation initiatives.
- Maintain robust controls over cost tracking, accruals, and variance reporting.
7. Data-Driven Decision Support:
- Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and management reporting frameworks to support real-time decision-making.
- Leverage BI tools and analytics platforms to enhance financial visibility, transparency, and predictive capability.
- Champion the use of data and automation to improve FP&A efficiency.
8. Month-End Close:
- Coordinate with Financial Controllers and the corporate finance team to ensure accurate and timely month-end close activities.
- Review and validate financial statements, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all accruals and provisions.
9. Financial Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure strict adherence to internal financial controls, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
- Support enterprise risk management and compliance initiatives across the finance function.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
Minimum Education & Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in business finance and FP&A (range dependent on seniority within the VP band), preferably within BPO / ITES / BPM organisations.
Industry: Candidates must have direct experience in the BPM industry. Applications from other sectors will not be considered.
Skills & Competencies:
Technical Skills:
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills (advanced Excel, Power BI / Tableau a plus)
- Deep knowledge of FP&A processes, revenue recognition, and cost governance

- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Understanding of BPM / BPO contract structures, SLAs, and pricing models
Leadership & Soft Skills:

- Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
