Director, Finance

Enveda is looking for a Director, Finance to join the team!

The contribution you will make: Embark on a pivotal role as an Finance Director at Enveda, collaborating closely with senior leaders and our accounting team. Your strategic contributions will shape the financial landscape of our forward-thinking tech bio company, emphasizing sustainability and innovation.

As a head of the India Finance Team, you will work closely with our VP - India Operations.

You get to collaborate on:

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Collaborate with senior leaders and the accounting team, playing a crucial role in annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes. Provide leadership reporting to drive informed decision-making.
• Innovative FP&A Processes: Develop and implement best-in-class FP&A processes and procedures, creating financial models to forecast business performance, identify key KPIs, and present findings to senior leadership. Actively participate in the implementation of new ERP and planning tools.
• Financial Partnering: Be the key finance partner to department heads and project teams, enhancing decision-making, providing commercial insights, and managing adherence to budgets. Partner with the accounting group for financial statement analysis, variance review, and audit reports.
• Strategic Leadership: Coordinating with scientific leadership to prioritize programs, create forward looking budgets and optimize actual spend to forecasts.

Who will thrive in this role?

• Educational Background: Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or business; MBA and/or CA highly preferred.
• Experience: 12-15 years in an FP&A role for a private, early-stage company in the life sciences/biotech industry. Proven ability to build relationships, demonstrated expertise in financial modeling & analytics, and experience in a fast-growing startup.
• Skills: Superior analytical, communication, and project management skills with a consultative approach to problem-solving. Experience using Focus X and Netsuite is preferred.
