Job Description

As a Senior UI Software Development Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing intuitive and high-performance user interfaces for our global B2B Securities Finance platforms using ReactJS. These platforms are essential for the client experience and are utilized by top financial institutions worldwide. You will be an integral part of a dynamic and collaborative UI engineering team, contributing to the creation and implementation of modern, scalable, and maintainable front-end applications. This role will involve working on challenging technical tasks, shaping front-end architecture, and taking charge of UI solutions throughout the development lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include building and managing enterprise-grade web applications with a focus on performance, accessibility, and responsive design using ReactJS. You will be responsible for driving front-end architecture decisions, determining component structure, state management patterns, and integration with RESTful APIs. Collaborating closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend developers, you will deliver robust features that address real-world business challenges. Additionally, you will review code, mentor junior team members, and advocate for best practices in UI development within the team. Active participation in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups will be expected. You will champion front-end quality across various stages of development, testing, deployment, and production support. Working with client support teams, you will diagnose and resolve UI issues, including performance bottlenecks and user-reported bugs. Furthermore, you will identify and implement opportunities to enhance development workflows, design consistency, and front-end tooling.
The ideal candidate will possess at least 7 years of commercial experience in front-end development, with a strong proficiency in ReactJS and modern JavaScript. A solid understanding of front-end architecture and experience in building scalable component-based systems is required. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and asynchronous data handling is essential, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality code in Agile teams using CI/CD practices. Familiarity with state management solutions like Redux or Context API is beneficial. Demonstrated experience in developing B2B client-facing applications with a focus on usability, accessibility, and performance is preferred. Effective communication skills are crucial for collaborating across engineering, design, and product teams.
