Job Description
:
We are looking for a dynamic Government Institutional Sales professional to drive business growth through Central Government, State Government, PSU, Defence, Education, Healthcare, and other institutional accounts.
The role will focus on identifying opportunities, managing key stakeholder relationships, participating in tender processes, and achieving revenue targets through government and institutional sales channels.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in government business development, tender management, institutional sales, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Government Business Development :
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand business across government and institutional accounts.
- Identify new opportunities through government projects, tenders, RFPs, GeM, and procurement portals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across government departments and public sector organizations.
- Drive business growth by acquiring new accounts and expanding existing relationships.
2. Tender & Bid Management :
- Track and evaluate government tenders and procurement opportunities.
- Coordinate preparation and submission of bids, proposals, and tender documentation.
- Ensure compliance with procurement guidelines and eligibility requirements.
3. Account Management :
- Develop long-term relationships with government institutions, PSUs, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct regular meetings and presentations with senior stakeholders.
- Understand customer requirements and align solutions accordingly.
- Manage contract renewals and account retention initiatives.
4. Revenue & Sales Management :
- Achieve assigned revenue and business targets.
- Develop sales forecasts and business plans.
- Monitor sales pipeline and conversion metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
5. Market Intelligence :
- Monitor industry trends, policy developments, and government initiatives.
- Analyze competitor activities and market opportunities.
- Identify emerging opportunities in government digitization, infrastructure, technology, and public sector projects.

Preferred Candidate Profile :
- 8 - 10 years of experience in Government Sales, Institutional Sales, B2G Sales, or Public Sector Business Development.
- Strong network within Government Departments, PSUs, Educational Institutions, Healthcare Organizations, and Regulatory Bodies.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and winning government contracts.
- Experience handling tenders, RFPs, and procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Educational Qualification :
- MBA/PGDM preferred.
