Location HR Head - HR Operations - Manufacturing Firm

Role Overview:

The Location HR Head for our Budhni, MP operations will serve as the primary strategic partner for site leadership, overseeing the entire employee lifecycle within the region. This role involves balancing high-level HR strategy with on-the-ground operational execution, ensuring that talent management initiatives, compliance standards, and organizational culture are seamlessly integrated into the plant environment. You will work closely with senior management and cross-functional department heads to drive performance, mitigate operational risks, and foster a high-engagement workplace that supports the company's long-term growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end HR operations for the Budhni, MP location, ensuring all site-specific people processes are aligned with corporate policies and local regulatory requirements.
• Partner with site leadership to translate business goals into actionable HR strategies, focusing on workforce planning, talent retention, and productivity enhancement.
• Manage comprehensive HR compliance frameworks, ensuring the facility adheres to all labor laws, statutory regulations, and internal safety standards to mitigate legal and operational risks.
• Oversee talent management initiatives, including performance appraisal cycles, leadership development programs, and succession planning to build a robust internal talent pipeline.
• Drive employee relations and engagement programs to cultivate a positive workplace culture, addressing grievances and fostering open communication channels across all levels of the workforce.
• Direct the administration of compensation, benefits, and payroll processes to ensure accuracy and timely delivery for all site personnel.

Required Skillset:

• Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale HR operations within a plant or manufacturing environment, with a deep understanding of industrial relations and labor law compliance.
• Proven ability to act as a strategic HR Business Partner, influencing senior stakeholders and aligning human capital initiatives with complex business objectives.
• Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive employee relations issues while maintaining organizational integrity.
• Strong analytical capabilities to interpret HR metrics and translate them into actionable insights that improve operational efficiency and workforce performance.
• A Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field from a premier institute, complemented by 18 - 30 years of progressive experience in HR leadership roles.
• High degree of adaptability and professional maturity, capable of leading teams on-site in a fast-paced, high-pressure industrial setting.
