Job Description
- Role Overview:
Evolent Health is on a mission to revolutionize healthcare delivery and improve the health of the nation. As part of the team, you will be involved in various stages of the application development lifecycle, focusing on C#, EDI, cloud computing, and relational database technologies. Your contributions will play a crucial role in integrating new software engineering technologies and practices to enhance the overall development process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the requirement, design, development, and QA cycles within an application development team, emphasizing C#, EDI, cloud computing, and relational database technologies.
- Investigate and integrate advancements in software engineering technology into the development process, including programming languages, relational database systems, application frameworks, software processes, automation, and system optimization/scaling.
- Collaborate with the team and business owners to develop and execute various software projects, aligning with organizational objectives.
- Engage in the full systems lifecycle by contributing to solution design, development, implementation, and product support using agile methodologies.
- Maintain the source-code repository, deploy code into production, explore and implement new technologies, and communicate project status and forecasting to internal stakeholders.
- Identify new technologies beneficial for department goals, enhance existing designs, update documentation, test and validate software applications, and stay updated with emerging technologies.
Qualifications Required:

- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, operate with attention to detail, anticipate and solve problems effectively, and work in an Agile environment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in software engineering roles, along with a Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university.
