Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Manager to expand our solar business in Kerala. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the solar EPC / rooftop / commercial & industrial segments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial solar segments
  • Generate leads through field visits, networking, and market research
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and channel partners
  • Conduct site visits and coordinate with technical teams for feasibility analysis
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and cost estimates for clients
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets
  • Coordinate with internal teams (design, operations, finance) for project execution
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and government policies in the solar sector
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and handle post-sales support
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering / Business / Renewable Energy (MBA preferred)
  • 4–8 years of experience in solar / renewable energy / EPC / B2B sales
  • Strong understanding of solar rooftop, open access, or C&I projects
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel extensively within Kerala
  • Knowledge of local market and government policies will be an added advantage
