Job Description
- You will be working as a Senior/Lead Developer with a strong expertise in Guidewire BillingCenter (GW BC) in a remote position. As the technical lead for BillingCenter development initiatives, your responsibilities will include designing, configuring, and developing custom solutions within the GW BC framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Additionally, you will mentor junior developers, troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues, and ensure system stability during the core support window. Your participation in sprint planning, estimation, and agile development processes will be crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical lead for Guidewire BillingCenter development initiatives.
- Design, configure, and develop custom solutions within the GW BC framework.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Perform code reviews, enforce best practices, and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues related to BillingCenter.
- Support day-to-day operations and ensure system stability during the core support window.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and agile development processes.
Qualifications Required:
- 10+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 6 years in Guidewire BillingCenter development.
- Strong hands-on experience in Guidewire Gosu programming and BillingCenter configuration/integration.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver solutions on time.
- Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud or on-prem implementations.
- Solid understanding of billing processes in the P&C insurance domain.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Guidewire certification in BillingCenter (Developer or Architect level).
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to other Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter) is a plus.
- Experience with integration tools, APIs, and DevOps practices.
