Captain / Marine Superintendent / Chief Officer / Master Mariner

Job description:

To ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of assigned vessels in accordance with international regulations, industry best practices, and company policies. The Marine Superintendent serves as the key shore-based point of contact for the vessels Master and crew

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the safe and efficient operation of Container / Bulk
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Conduct vessel inspections and audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• 
  Provide guidance and support to vessel crews, promoting a culture of safety and professionalism.
• Monitor vessel performance and efficiency, implementing measures to optimize operations.
• Coordinate with shore-based teams, including engineering, logistics, and commercial departments, to ensure seamless operations.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents, implementing contingency plans and coordinating with relevant authorities.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to vessel operations and regulatory compliance.
• Keep abreast of industry developments, regulations, and best practices, recommending updates to procedures and protocols as necessary.

Required Candidate profile:

• Must have sailed as Master on Container / Bulk

  Get Hired
  Conduct regular ship inspections to ensure compliance to the statutory requirements of ISM & ISPS codes. responsible for conducting pre-vetting inspection on board the ship & follow-up.Master Mariner preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in marine operations, with specific experience in LNG vessels.
• Strong understanding of container / Bulk including cargo handling, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel as needed
