Role Overview:
The Health Procurement Expert will serve as a strategic advisor within our consulting practice, focusing on optimizing supply chain and procurement functions for healthcare organizations and government health initiatives.
You will work closely with senior client leadership, internal cross-functional teams, and external vendors to streamline procurement lifecycles, enhance cost efficiencies, and ensure the seamless delivery of critical health commodities.
This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence and ensuring that our clients maintain robust, compliant, and agile supply chains in a high-stakes environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end procurement transformation projects for healthcare clients to improve operational efficiency and reduce total cost of ownership.
- Manage the full lifecycle of complex RFP processes, from drafting technical requirements to final vendor selection and contract negotiation, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Oversee vendor management frameworks to monitor performance, mitigate supply chain risks, and foster long-term strategic partnerships.
- Develop and implement robust contract management strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance policies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate supply chain best practices, ensuring that procurement strategies support broader organizational health outcomes.
- Provide expert guidance on market trends, sourcing strategies, and digital procurement tools to drive innovation within the client's supply chain ecosystem.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale procurement operations, specifically within the healthcare or public health sector.
- Proven ability to lead complex contract negotiations and vendor management programs that deliver measurable financial and operational results.
- Strong proficiency in designing and executing RFP processes, with a deep understanding of legal and commercial terms.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and navigate complex organizational structures.
- Strategic thinking capabilities to identify supply chain bottlenecks and implement scalable, sustainable solutions.
- A Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field from a premier institute.
- Flexibility to operate in a hybrid work environment, with the ability to travel to client sites across the Delhi NCR region as required by project demands.
- 5 - 15 years of professional experience in procurement and supply chain management roles.
