Job Description
- As a General Manager Sales, Service & Customer Care with electrical experience in machines, you will play a crucial role in leading the Sales, Service, and Customer Care divisions within the industrial machinery and dairy equipment manufacturing sector. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing growth strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on the industrial machinery and dairy equipment markets.
- Leading national and regional sales teams to achieve or surpass revenue and profitability targets.
- Overseeing all customer service and after-sales operations to ensure timely issue resolution and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Cultivating a customer-centric culture throughout the organization and implementing service excellence practices.
- Monitoring industry trends, competitor performance, and customer feedback to drive innovation and enhance market competitiveness.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, production, and marketing teams to optimize go-to-market and service delivery models.
- Managing budgets, forecasts, and full P&L responsibilities for the Sales, Service, and Customer Care departments.
- Recruiting, mentoring, and guiding high-performing cross-functional teams dedicated to delivering business and service excellence.
- Representing the company at trade shows, industry events, and key client meetings to boost brand visibility and establish strategic partnerships.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
Key skills essential for success in this position are:
- Demonstrated leadership of large, distributed teams in sales and service functions.
- Proficiency in after-sales systems, warranty processes, and maintenance contract management.
- Strong grasp of CRM systems, data analysis, and Excel-based forecasting models.

Performance metrics (KPIs) for this role will include:
- Revenue & margin growth in target segments.
