Information Technology Network Engineer

Business Unit Overview

Working as a full time IT Network Engineer, you will be responsible for following the technical direction and implementation of the enterprise network administrator/engineering environment.

Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Have good experience on maintaining and monitoring of network administration and engineering practices in the areas of Network security, routing protocols and switching technologies.
• Ability to analyze, develop, test, optimize and deliver solutions to improve processes and Infrastructure as code automation practices with quality
• Ensure integrity and security of networking through regular patch management
• Understand and participation in Disaster recovery tests
• Perform technical reviews of deploy guides, code and documentations
  
• Provide innovative solution to complex technical problems and drive towards solutions
• Focus on deepening expertise aligned to business needs
• Learn, use and conduct technical trainings
• Mentor junior team members
• Effective communication across IT Teams
• Provide support on critical network systems in an on-call rotation
• Ensure adherence to standards and policies of the organization

Required Position Qualifications

• Full Time Bachelors degree
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience working in a network administration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated, disciplined and self-directed

Preferred Position Qualifications

• Have strong understanding of Networking firewall, Routing, Switching and wireless
• Hands on experience with Palo Alto firewall, Cisco routing and switching
• Experience with Meraki wireless and Azure Networking is a plus
• Willingness to learn and adopting growth mindset
• Scripting knowledge (Python / Ansible / Terraform) will be an added advantage
