Job Description
- As a Grade 13 employee at FedEx, you will be responsible for various financial control activities including Record to Report, Business & Technical Expertise, Project Management, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and Local GAAP. Your role will involve managing internal and external audits, collaborating with external parties such as BPOs, Consultants, local authorities, and Auditors, as well as handling Audit schedules.
Your key responsibilities will include General Ledger Review, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Intercompany Reconciliation, Month End Close reporting, Technical Accounting, Financial Statements audit, and Regulatory filings. You should have a strong understanding of Local GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS, and be proficient in Balance reco / financial recon.
In this position, you can look forward to international collaboration, exposure to global accounting policies, and working with Advanced Cloud-based ERP systems. The role will also require analytical skills, numerical skills, presentation skills, interpersonal skills, judgement & decision-making skills, communication skills, and accuracy & attention to details.
