Cluster Collections Manager

1. Collections Operations & Bucket Management

• Manage and control bucket flow cases with a strong focus on non-starter accounts.
• Monitor daily collections activities and ensure timely resolution of assigned cases.
• Drive consistent follow-ups to improve recovery rates and reduce delinquency.

2. Field Force Management (Feet-on-Street)

• Ensure adequate availability of field collection executives across areas, buckets, and customer segments.
• Allocate cases effectively to maximize coverage and productivity.
• Conduct regular field reviews and monitor on-ground execution.

3. Performance Monitoring & Productivity

• Define productivity parameters for collection executives and monitor performance against targets.
• Conduct daily reviews with team members to track progress and address gaps.
• Continuously evaluate performance and take corrective actions where required.

4. Compliance & Process Adherence

• Ensure all activities comply with legal guidelines, internal policies, and audit requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely updates on systems (e.g., Fincollect App).
• Address audit queries and ensure closure within defined timelines.

5. Team Hiring, Training & Development

• Support hiring by conducting background and reference checks for collection executives.
• Identify training needs and facilitate skill development programs.
• Provide ongoing guidance and support to improve team effectiveness.

6. Issue Resolution & Support

• Assist collection officers in handling escalations, including legal or police-related issues.
• Act as the first point of contact for operational challenges faced by field teams.
• Ensure quick resolution of issues to avoid delays in collections.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of field collections operations
• Ability to manage and monitor on-ground teams effectively
• Good knowledge of compliance and audit requirements
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and team handling abilities

• 3-6 years of experience in Collections or Field Operations within NBFCs, Banks, or Fintech organizations
• Experience in managing field teams/collection executives preferred
• Intermediate + DRA / Graduate in any discipline
