Role and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and JavaScript.

Build and manage RESTful APIs for application features and third-party integrations.

Design and optimize database schemas and queries using any relational or NoSQL database (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Implement authentication, authorization, and data security best practices.

Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards.

Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of applications.

Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth releases.

Participate in code reviews and Agile development processes.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Node.js and Nest JS development.

Hands-on experience with REST API development using frameworks like Express.js or similar.

Experience with any database: MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB or equivalent.

Understanding of MVC or service-based architecture.

Familiarity with authentication methods (JWT, OAuth, etc.).

Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

Basic understanding of cloud deployment and CI/CD is a plus.
