Product Owner

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (Onsite, minimum 4 days per week)

Contract: 6 Months (Extendable)

About the Client

• A rapidly growing tech company expanding in the Middle East, delivering large-scale digital transformation projects for government and enterprise clients.
• The business focuses on AI, Digital Twin, Cloud, and Smart City solutions, with strong exposure to high-value (multi-million USD) projects in the UAE markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI, data, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify, gather, and document requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear deliverables for implementation partners and vendors.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, communications, risks, and project timelines.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings, ensuring clear outcomes and actionable next steps.
• Drive vendor performance and delivery against agreed milestones.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), sign-off processes, and business adoption activities.
• Support change management, training, and successful handover into operations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Delivery Management, Business Analysis, or Technology Consulting.
• Proven experience delivering Data, Analytics, AI Automation, or Digital Transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• Experience working with external vendors, system integrators, or implementation partners.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, solve problems proactively, and drive decisions.
• Strong requirements gathering, user story definition, and documentation capabilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with Government, Public Sector, or Smart City programmes.
• Exposure to AI platforms, Data Analytics, Data Governance, or BI solutions.
• Understanding of AI/ML solution delivery and vendor management.
• Native Arabic speaker would be highly advantageous.
