Accounting Specialist

About the role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Specialist with strong knowledge of e-commerce accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing accounting processes for e-commerce businesses, including marketplace reconciliations, payment gateway settlements, taxation, and financial reporting.

The candidate should be well-versed in accounting principles, compliance, and daily financial operations while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including:
• Journal entries
• Ledger maintenance
• Bookkeeping
• Accounts payable & receivable
• Handle e-commerce accounting operations across platforms such as: Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, Other marketplaces.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–6 years of experience in Accounts & Finance
• Mandatory experience in e-commerce accounting
• Strong understanding of:
• Marketplace accounting
• Strong understanding of filling of GST & TDS
• Settlement reconciliation
• Bookkeeping
• Financial reporting
• Hands-on experience with: Tally, Zoho, MS Excel
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

• Experience handling D2C/e-commerce brand accounts
• Knowledge of inventory accounting and return management
• Experience in audit coordination and taxation
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
