Logistics Manager

FITT Meals is a UAE-based healthy meal plan and food production business with a team of over 150 employees. Operating from our state-of-the-art 40,000-square-foot facility in Dubai Industrial City, we serve direct-to-consumer (D2C) and business-to-business (B2B) customers across the UAE, completing tens of thousands of deliveries every month.

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Logistics Manager to lead our outbound logistics and delivery operations across all seven emirates.

You'll take ownership of customer orders once packaged and handed over by Production, overseeing dispatch, route planning, fleet management and final delivery to our D2C and B2B customers.

You'll lead our team of drivers and supervisors, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately, on time and cost-effectively.

We're looking for someone who will challenge existing processes, bring fresh ideas and drive continuous improvement, balancing customer experience with food safety, team wellbeing and commercial performance.

Delivery Operations & Dispatch

• Oversee D2C and B2B deliveries across all seven emirates.
• Manage the receipt, verification, allocation and dispatch of packaged customer orders.
• Coordinate drivers, schedules, routes and vehicles, resolving operational challenges and delivery issues.
• Work closely with Production, Customer Service and Commercial teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain effective delivery procedures, escalation processes and contingency plans.

Fleet & Route Management

• Optimise delivery routes, driver productivity and vehicle utilisation.
• Manage fleet servicing, maintenance, registrations, insurance and compliance.
• Monitor fleet costs, fuel consumption and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Manage logistics suppliers and evaluate vehicle purchasing, rental and replacement requirements.

Team Leadership & Capacity Planning

• Lead, develop and manage drivers and dispatch supervisors, building a culture of accountability and teamwork.
• Oversee workforce scheduling, attendance, training and operational coverage.
• Plan workforce, fleet and delivery capacity to accommodate customer growth, seasonal demand and new business opportunities.

Commercial Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Manage logistics budgets, operating costs and performance against agreed KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, customer experience and cost per delivery.
• Use operational data, technology and customer feedback to drive measurable improvements.
• Challenge existing processes and implement more efficient systems and ways of working.
• Support B2B and event logistics, assessing operational requirements, capacity and costs.
  

• Minimum 5 years experience in logistics and distribution operations, including at least 3 years in a management role.
• Extensive experience managing logistics and delivery operations in the UAE is essential.
• Experience in food distribution, FMCG, meal delivery or temperature-controlled logistics is highly desirable.
• Proven experience managing high-volume deliveries, drivers, dispatch teams and vehicle fleets.
• Strong commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets, operational costs and KPIs.
• Confident using logistics systems, route optimisation tools and performance data.
• A hands-on, proactive leader with excellent problem-solving, communication and people management skills.
• Customer-focused, commercially minded and confident challenging existing processes to deliver improvements.
