Design Manager

NOW HIRING A DESIGN MANAGER

Our client is a Real Estate Development company currently delivering an iconic mixed-use development.

The Position

The Design Manager position will lead development projects from start to finish, reporting to the company's Design Director. You will be based at the company's head office, overseeing a portfolio of projects at various stages.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage design processes, ensuring timely delivery and reviewing drawings.

Coordinate with development managers on design matters.

Chair design meetings, write reports, and deliver presentations.

Assess, mitigate, and manage design-related risks.

Lead technical task lists for projects, overseeing quality, time, and deliverables.

Maintain leadership skills for architectural and interdisciplinary coordination.

Develop RFPs, respond to technical queries, and evaluate bidders and contractors.

Utilize hand sketches and CAD software for architectural designs.

Interface with Design and Development Managers at various project stages.

Requirements:

10+ years of Architecture, Engineering/Design experience

2+ years working for a tier 1 Real Estate Developer in UAE

Must have experience in unique mixed-use projects and a portfolio that reflects breadth, complexity, and variety

A proven track record leading development design projects from start to finish.

Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field; Master's degree or PMP is advantageous.

Deep technical knowledge of the design process from brainstorming to product.

Strong creative drive with a keen eye for innovation and trends.

Leadership ability coupled with effective team motivation skills.

Adaptability and reliability in fast-paced environments.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
