Manager - Trade Marketing - FMCG

Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Trade Marketing Manager to lead our strategic initiatives in the FMCG space, based out of our Cochin office. In this pivotal role, you will act as the bridge between brand strategy and retail execution, ensuring our products achieve maximum visibility and conversion at the point of purchase. Your leadership will directly influence our competitive positioning and long-term retail success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive trade promotion calendars to drive volume growth and market share expansion across diverse retail channels.

- Orchestrate end-to-end outdoor marketing and advertising campaigns to enhance brand recall and drive footfall in key catchment areas.

- Manage and optimize trade marketing budgets to ensure maximum efficiency and measurable impact on top-line revenue.

- Collaborate with the sales leadership team to provide actionable insights and customized support tools that empower the field force to achieve distribution targets.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of trade programs through rigorous post-campaign analysis, translating data into strategic recommendations for future cycles.

Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in crafting and deploying large-scale trade marketing strategies within the competitive FMCG landscape.

- Strong analytical acumen with the ability to interpret shopper data and translate it into profitable retail strategies.

- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing cross-functional teams and external agency partners to deliver results.

- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of articulating complex marketing strategies to senior leadership.

- A proactive and adaptable mindset, comfortable working in an on-site environment in Cochin and navigating the dynamic requirements of the regional retail market.

- A postgraduate degree in Management from a premier institute is highly preferred, complemented by 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in trade marketing and retail operations.
